A company’s Human Resources department is often the virtual home of Terabytes of valuable employee data information. For instance, employees’ pre-employment assessment and interview results, performance appraisal results, promotion records, attendance records, and maybe even ratings of high performance or leadership potential expectations can all be stored in the data archives of HR. What is your organization doing will all this great data?
In this session, we will discuss some of the various sources and types of HR data, and describe how data sources can be combined to allow organizations to better plan for the future. For instance, we will discuss linking current performance appraisal data with expectations for future talent needs, harnessing the power of Workforce Planning. We will also discuss linking pre-employment results with employee performance and turnover numbers. Are our pre-employment measures, tests and interviews, doing what they are supposed to? There is only one way to find out. If they aren’t, we will discuss how we can create strategies to better align our hiring practices with our future business needs.
