SUMMARY: A key to the success of any business strategy of an organization is ensuring it has quality leaders that understand and drive the vision of an organization into the future. HR must be able to understand where an organization stands from a leadership perspective, and be able to demonstrate evidence of a leadership pipeline and succession plan to truly be strategic while creating a competitive advantage as an organization.
This session articulates Transformational Leadership (TL) as one theory that can be enacted as a key ingredient in engaging employees, harnessing employees’ initiative, and achieving innovative solutions to business problems. This session will highlight how this pivotal understanding of leadership can be communicated to create change within the organization and a sound strategy behind selecting and developing leaders who will drive an organization’s vision.
