SUMMARY: One key to successfully driving organizational effectiveness over time is to ensure that employees align with an organization’s culture. We will explore how HR can speak to organizational effectiveness by driving organizational culture through values. In this session we’ll talk about the importance of culture via core work values, how to measure them, and how to improve alignment between the organization and its employees for driving organizational effectiveness through selection and development strategies. We will highlight evidence that work- value alignment has been shown to increase job satisfaction and organizational commitment among employees, as well as decrease employee turnover – and how to communicate these results to demonstrate organizational effectiveness and bottom line results of the organization.
